Cosmetologist: 1550 hours.
Cosmetology Instructor
Cosmetology Manager
Esthetician: 600 hours
Nail Technician: 350 hours.
An applicant must have at least a twelfth grade education or a G.E.D.
Proof of completion is required
Diploma from High School
Diploma from G.E.D.
Electrology is not licensed by the State but may be regulated by the local municipality.
Reciprocity may be granted to currently licensed applicants who pass the Minnesota Board Exam and who have at least 1800 hours of licensed experience within the last three years.
